PLANT NAMED PROJECT MANAGER AT
ANDREW GENERAL CONTRACTORS

Orlando, Fla. — James A. Plant recently joined Andrew General Contractors, Inc. (AGC) — a full-service general contractor — as senior project manager. His responsibilities include project coordination, support service for superintendents, scheduling, client services and business development.

Plant specializes in hospitality and retail construction, and brings more than eight years of commercial construction and management experience to the company. Currently, Plant is working on The Peabody Hotel, Westgate Resorts, Sea World and Marriott Resort in Orlando. Before joining AGC, he worked for The Auchter Company, where he managed projects in the $20 million range. He also served as vice president of Kanor Construction, where he managed individual projects in the multi-million dollar range.

A member of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association, Plant earned his Bachelor of Arts in structural engineering from Mississippi State University in 1994. He went on to serve eight years as First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
